Just Passing Thru Garage
Welcome to Just Passing Thru Garage. At the end of 2022 I had a 30 x 50 garage built in Pocahontas, VA. This site was intended to be all about my cars and car stuff. However, I quickly learned not everything goes as planned!
Now this site is turning into my journey of rebuilding part of my new garage, building a new house, and working the 14 acres of land. The land has been in the family since 1927. With my dad’s help, we are cleaning up the property and maybe adding some farm animals in the future.
My prized car! I bought this 57 in June of 1986. I’ve got a little more work to go to get it on the road, but I’m getting closer.
This was supposed to be a father/son project. Now it’s more like a father for son project.
This 1932 Chevy belonged to my Uncle John, a key figure in my love for cars. I acquired it when he passed away.
I had one like her in high school and have wanted another one for years. I bought this 6-cylinder 200 in Nashville in June of 2022.
This Ford F150 was given to my son when he was 13 by his grandfather. I guess I am the caretaker until my son settles down and has a place to keep it.
I got to be honest. I did not even know what a Polaris RZR was when I told my cousin I would buy this from him. I only knew I was moving to an area full of ATV trails.
This is the building that this page was created for, but things don’t always go as planned. My dream garage is off to a crumbly start and it looks like I’ll be in my first lawsuit ever.
My family bought this land in 1927. It’s on top of Peel Chestnut Mountain, just outside Pocahontas, VA. Population, less than 300….. Salute!
